Educational qualifiations
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management and administration, brand management or any other related discipline
Experience required
Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field
Competencies required
  • Full proficiency in Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) in addition to graphic design software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign), experience using video editing software is a plus
  • Full professional proficiency in spoken and written English and Arabic
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to delegate
  • Ability manage conflicts
Job responsiblities
  • Reports to the Chief Operations Officer

Marketing strategy

  • Develop and implement company’s marketing strategy
  • Review company’s brand positioning and recommend changes where applicable
  • Perform market segmentation exercise and identify target consumer groups for new and existing services
  • Develop marketing plans for future products (this is to cover the Ps of marketing)
  • Create marketing presentations and approach potential clients in collaboration with the Commercial department

Brand management

  • Manage the company’s brand and its components
  • Measure brand awareness and suggest improvements to enhance it both locally and internationally
  • Develop the Brand Guidelines document and ensure all staff adhere to it. This is to include but is not limited to:

Public relations

  • Media: Develop written content for press releases (English and Arabic) and identify media stakeholders and develop and maintain good working relationships
  • Social media: Manage the company’s Social Media accounts. Stay up-to-date with new social media channels to explore. Ensure social media accounts are regularly updated and well maintained
  • Ensure company website is regularly updated

Event management

  • Plan and budget for company events
  • Ensure all event arrangements are made in collaboration with the purchasing department (venue booking, resource planning, food and refreshments reservations, etc)
  • Explore possible events and exhibitions in which the company can participate and ensure necessary arrangements are made (registration, assigned personnel, roll-ups, marketing brochures, etc)
