Mohammed Ashraf has led Statutory & Corporate Services for Keypoint since the firm's inception in 2006 and heads the business advisory services, management consultancy and human capital services functions. Prior to joining Keypoint, Mohammed was compliance team leader for a leading listed international bank headquartered in London. He has completed the College of Law (London)’s legal practice course and holds an Honours degree in law from Middlesex University (UK).

As the head of Keypoint’s statutory and corporate services function, Mohammed coordinates a broad range of focus areas including obtaining licensing and regulatory approvals; drafting and reviewing agreements and business plans; maintaining regulatory requirements, corporate records and amendments; and structuring, restructuring and liquidating local, regional and internationally registered entities, both onshore and offshore. He has extensive experience across sectors including real estate and banking and non-banking financial institutions, advising on onshore and offshore corporate structures, forming funds and preparing relevant legal and statutory documents to ensure compliance with applicable regulations both here in the Kingdom of Bahrain and abroad. His experience and expertise of helping shape leading companies has established him as one of Bahrain’s most sought out advisors.

He is also a key advisor to a number of regional businesses and leading families, assisting them with both commercial matters and succession planning.

Mohammed plays a significant role in developing and maintaining relationships with government authorities, including the Central Bank of Bahrain and the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism.
